David Roth

Supervisor of Special Services

David Roth joins the Oradell Administrative Team as the Supervisor of Special Services for the 2021-2022 school year.  Dr. Roth earned his undergraduate degree from the American University in Washington, DC.  He then earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and School Psychology from Hofstra University in New York and his Administrator certificate from Rowan University located in New Jersey.      

Dr. Roth has approximately 20 years of experience working in the New Jersey Public Schools.  He spent over 15 years as a School Psychologist in the Bergenfield School system.  Dr. Roth then joined the Norwood Public School as the Supervisor of Special Services.  During his career within the public school setting, Dr. Roth has case managed students, facilitated various groups, provided crisis management, served on various committees, provided professional development to staff, and managed/supervised various school employees.  He has created a number of academic programs and support services including a pre-school program.  He also developed and managed Title I programs and revamped district level Multi-Tiered System of Support interventions.

Dr. Roth believes that communication and collaboration with students, families, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders is of paramount importance.  He looks forward to working with the Oradell community.  He and the administrative team will continue to create opportunities for Oradell students to find success and maximize their potential.
