We enjoyed seeing former and current students at Oradell ARTS FEST yesterday. They were selling their crafts, creating art and sharing their many talents. We were especially excited to have our handbell groups be included in the performances. #ArtsMatter @oradellarts #LoveOurOPSFamily #PantherPride @ops_music_nj

New OPS Event!!! In fourth grade, students have the opportunity to choose an instrument to play. Learning the recorder in third grade helps them begin their instrument journey as they read music and learn to take care of their instrument. This year, they also had the opportunity to try out instruments before making their choice for fourth grade. #MusicMatters #PantherPrude

This morning, OPS and OPD once again joined together in the final leg of the OPS/OPD "Triple Crown" of events. We lined the streets to recognize Chief Emmie as this year's "Chief for a Day." Some of her classmates joined her family at Borough Hall after the parade for her official swearing in before she began a busy day of chief duties. #LoveOurOPSFamily #BigHeartBigSchool @BoroughofOradell @Oradell_PBA

Our 6th Grade Awards Night is about more than just recognizing students for academic and character awards. It is also about providing students a chance to lead. Students volunteer to create the program, perform musically, serve as hosts for the evening and share their memories of OPS. Thank you to the many community members and OPS staff members who joined us this evening. #LoveOurOPSFamily #PantherPride @Philipsfund @bookandneedlewomansclub @sgtdavidsolinasjrmemorial

We loved watching our students excitedly share their learning with their families. It was interesting to hear why students chose the individuals they did to research, and we learned many new facts. Did you know Abraham Lincoln was a wrestler? Now you do . . . thank you 3rd grade for teaching us!!! #AlwaysLearning #ReadToLearn #PantherPride

OPS was transformed into a gallery at this year’s Art Show! 🎨✨ Nearly 1,600 pieces of artwork were on display — two original creations from every OPS artist.
From colorful paintings and detailed drawings to imaginative mixed media pieces, the show celebrated the creativity and hard work of our students. Thank you to Art Teacher Ms. Schlessinger and all of her volunteers for making it a great night for students and families! #PantherPride #InsideOPS #OPSCreates

It is one of our favorite nights of the year - when we come together to recognize staff members for their OPS anniversaries, acknowledge our teacher of the year and celebrate staff retirements. #LoveOurOPSFamily #PantherPride

Some of our 6th grade band students were honored to be selected to participate in the New Jersey School Music Association on Saturday! 🎶 They spent the day rehearsing and performing alongside student musicians from across the region and represented OPS with pride. While they loved the music, the experience, and the opportunity, there was one unanimous review from the group… waking up early on a Saturday to drive all the way to Mount Olive was a stretch. 😂🎺🥁

I hope while our 4th grade team is traveling they remember to kiss the special stone inside that castle which legend says will give them the "gift of gab." Do you know what "gab" is? Look it up and see if you would want to kiss the stone! #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun
